Celebrating Our Community Impact

On Friday 14 August 2026, Maffra Community Sports Club proudly hosted our annual Cheque Presentation Night, bringing together representatives from local sporting organisations, community groups and charities to celebrate another year of community support.


We were pleased to welcome Year 11 Maffra Secondary College student Bill Huts as our guest speaker. Bill shared his experience taking on the Kokoda Trail through the Charlie McCallum Scholarship, an opportunity that gives local students the chance to walk in the footsteps of Australian soldiers while developing a deeper understanding of the history and significance of the Kokoda campaign.


We were also delighted to welcome Tim Bull and Gemma Rendell on the night, joining our recipients and Club representatives as we recognised the many organisations that contribute so much to our local community.
